Hurrah! MCing in the Gasworkers Club again! What joy. The barman called me 'Sir' in there last year (must've been the impressive attire!) and when I said " oh you, look don't say that, my Dad was a Gasworker, I grew up with the smell of coke!" (heh, heh) He replied "oh we call ALL our male visitors Sir, Sir." - I felt quite deflated! Ah, the Echo Falls, the soapy lager, the sweet essence of giraffe and the 6 year old smokers on the step - can't wait!
