Mike I was kind of surprised that Rangers didn't look into joining the lower tier of the English league and try to work there way up from there. Let's face it they have at least three years in the wilderness anyway bar the hoped for cup runs! They have along with Celtic previously made noises about joining the Premiership which have been dismissed by most of the English clubs but they may have looked differently at a massive club coming into their lower tiers!
