Lovely, funny, friendly posts to read this morning. Awoke feeling melancholy, not depressed, but very reflective with the following words running around in my head:

The shop my Father bought my first guitar from is not there anymore,

But I'm still here.
My Dearest Friend & Music Collaborator is not here anymore,
But I'm still here.
My first Wife is not here anymore,
But I'm still here.
My Teacher Training College is not there anymore,
But I'm still here.
Many Friends & Colleagues are not here anymore,
But I'm still here.
My greatest Musical Influences are not here anymore,
But I'm still here.
I'm still here to live my life with Ann, my loving, caring Wife.
A life enriched by Friends afar who steer a ship by yonder star.
I know not when my life will end, but when it does, my Love I'll send
To all of You who've cared for me, true Friends for all eternity."
