One of the saddest thing about those who believe in small government and 'libertarian' ideals in the US. is that they, the little people - the 99 % - are fighting FOR those who have all the money - the 1% - to oppress and control them. "Liberty" in the US is apparently conflated in the minds of the many, with the extremely rich, being "liberated" from the hideous crushing burden of paying taxes.
