Zebedee, at the beginning of the thread I had said, Encouraging bad nutrition and commercialism in our schools aside (there I've said it, so we can keep the debate out of this thread, please, remember collecting for Apple computers in every classroom?**BG** Besides that no school ever has enough funding, esp. for the music dept., right?!), this program will allow schools to purchase much needed instruments and other items.

My sister is a fantastic teacher who really cares about her kids and has been doing what she is able to with the limited amount of funding and support that is available for over 25 years.

If you do not want to participate that is fine, but please do not turn THIS thread into a debate on the merits of such programs. Please go start a different thread for that, if that is what you want to talk about.
