On the subject of coin storage I can affirm that a 35 mm film can will hold exactly $7.00 worth of quarters. (The plastic ones work best.) It's the best method I found of keeping them sorted and close at hand back when you could play a game of pool on one of the coin tables for a quarter.

Unfortunately, since everbody quit using anything but digital cameras, a 35 mm film can costs about a buck and a quarter in the rare case when you can find one.

Not too far south and/or east of here, it's my understanding that lots of the local shops can make change for an $18 bill (they'll give you two sevens and a four). They're obviously years ahead of the rest of us.
