We could grid them off in squares 25 meters or yards on a side, give 'em letter and number codes, and use a big-ass four-deuce mortar for a shootin' ahrn. Several of 'em, in fact. Shoot game and prepare the firewood at the same time.

Or (and I think this would be best) we send Bobert out with his wild boar call ("SUUUUUUU-EEEEEEEEEE-pig-pig-pig!") and when one of them 500 pound dudes with twelve inch tusks comes runnin' at Bobert (who is drenched in "Sow In Heat" scent) he sticks it with his patented boar spear. There me and olddude pop out of the bushes and help with dispatching the boar and patching Bobert, if he's got any Iron City left. If Bobert misses with his patented boar spear he might enjoy the encounter what follows but I doubt it.
