"-(Apparently) thanks to Obama, Iran is "four years closer to gaining a nuclear weapon."

It always surprises me when someone uses a phrase like that, because if an event ever happens, of course a period of time makes it closer than it was. If something happens tomorrow then today is closer to it than yesterday was.

On the other hand if nothing ever happens, all bets are off...
