Yes, I did enjoy Whitby - and thanks to all those who helped make it possible. (Special thanks to the Rugby Club for the new showers at their campsite.)

The clash with the Regatta made the streets rather congested for the first few days, but that was never more than a minor inconvenience - even though it made the re-routed Saturday parade rather a trudge for the dance teams. But in exchange for that we got the Red Arrows and a firework display.

Of the numerous festival events (both programmed and informal)that I attended, every one was a winner. Here's to the next time.
