Yeah, but CNN reported that people recounting were holding the ballots up to the light to look for dimpled impressions in the ballot to try to "determine the intent of the voter". That sort of activity makes the hand recount subjective. If it were done objectivly, I certainly wouldn't mind. But as it is, there seems to be no standard way of doing it. It is clearly unethical for anyone doing a recount to try to determine that the voter didn't or did mean to vote the way they did. As I understand, that is the sort of thing that was going on.
