Oh, you have two single-action revolvers, each loaded with 5 rounds and the hammer on an empty chamber. Your (pistol caliber, lever action) rifle is loaded with 10 in the magazine, chamber empty -- I have nine in the mag because the 10th would be in the chamber and so I hand load it from my upper left vest pocket. You carry the pistols to the pistol target area, the rifle is put in a rack (action closed) in the rifle target area), and the shotgun broken open and empty in the shotgun area.

You can point your weapons anywhere, as long as it's in a 170 degree arc to your front. Cross-drawn holster cannot deviate more than 30 degrees from the vertical line of your leg. Weapons are cleared at the unloading table, and rifles are carried, muzzle up, actions open, to a rack when they've been cleared. Revolvers are carried in your holster after being cleared.

The loading table is at the other end of the "run" from the unloading table. After you load you cannot leave the firing line unless you leave your pistols, etc. on the loading table (muzzles downrange) or in the racks on the firing line.

Lead bullets only, preferably flat nose, to prevent back-spatter (even though the targets are angled to prevent it).

Violate ANY of the rules and you're out of the match. These folks are SAFETY conscious!
