The Committee for Presidential Debates has corrupted the proceeding when the League of Women Voters stepped down in disgust, making way for "softball" questions and stringent rules against third party candidates as well as stricter rules agreed upon by the candidates in advance.

There were so many items left out of the discussion:
1. Drones
2. Syria
3. Palestinians
4. Increasing prisons over schools
5. Overseas contractors in lieu of soldiers
6. Building nuke weapons
7. Dangers of "fracking"
8. The oxymoronic "clean coal"
9. Lobbies dictating government policies
10. Ayn Randian influence on Ryan (as well as Greenspan)
11. The corruption of main stream media (bought and sold)
12. Citizens United ruling by SCOTUS
    and others.

The debate was all show business and comparatively little substance.
