Stilly, I'm the original listmaker. First thing I do after I wake up is make a list. If I do something not on the list, it gets put on the list so I can cross it off -- I need to know at the end of the day what's gotten accomplished.

And, yes, I've got a list of retirement goals/projects. I think I posted it a couple months ago on another thread.

Right now it's sort of a combination of post-PMFF let down, recovering from the bug I had the week after, repetitive tasks (Tom care plus housekeeping) that seem to be keeping me from MY projects or seeming to make any real headway.

I'm trying to get further along in organization of the accumulation of press cuttings, gig posters, photos, etc. that is not only a personal history but a history of the Press Room sessions. But I'm having to do so many things that Tom's been doing for the past 30+ years -- meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, bill paying, household repairs, his email(s), etcet etcet.

At least I finally got him (I hope) to stop apologizing every time I do something for him that he can't. That was really dragging me down. I put my arms around him and I asked him if he could do me a HUGE favor...to stop apologizing for needing all the stuff I have to do for him because he can no longer do it by himself. I told him I KNOW he knows what I do and I KNOW that he appreciates it, but I would prefer it if he just surprise me every once in a while with "thanks" and a kiss instead of constantly apologizing and feeling sorry. I love him. He's taken care of me often enough over the past 30 years. It's not a hardship for me to take care of him. I love him and I'm glad I'm here to help him.

But the St. John's wort will help me, too, as long as I need it.

Linn
