The upcoming night reminds me: I am not sleeping well. I have a twin bed and my little dog sleeps on it too. He is hairless, meaning he is wrapped inside a blanket, he is under 15 pounds but you wouldn't believe how long and bony his legs are. He takes up a lot of room and within a few hours he is pasted against me; I often find my legs almost falling out of bed.

I know. I know. He shouldn't share my bed.

Tonight I'm thinking of lying next to the wall and having him lie on the outside. Then I won't care how much he crowds me. I'll see.
