That gem was written in 1931 by Hoagy Carmichael and Sidney Arodin. Carmichael and Mitchell Parish wrote "Star Dust" in 1928. I didn't realize those songs were quite so old. Maybe I didn't realize that Joe Offer was quite so old, either. Carmichael lived from 1899-1981, well into the television age, and I remember seeing him on TV when I was a kid, I think.
