Have to confess that I quite like the tune, no matter how many times it's been used; I associate it with Dobbin's Flowery Vale.
The song itself is not usually the type I'd break my neck to search out, but again, I found enough detail in it to hold my attention.
I agree entirely with you about the electronic wallpaper that the singer is singing against, which for me, only serves (as a negative example) to emphasise how beautiful the solo, unaccompanied voice can be, especially one like Ms O'Dwyer's.
Anyway, I have no doubt I shall be hearing the song regularly as the enquirer is a local publican where our regular music/singing session happens every Wednesday - now I only have to find her 'The Jogger From Clare' to win my free pint - cheers all!
