"Pigeons are more efficient at learning to choose doors by trial and error in a setup like 'Let's Make a Deal!'"

Q. What is the difference between a pigeon and a Hall contestant?

A. The pigeon gets to do the task over and over and over. Usually the set-up for pigeons or mice is to do something having only two choices, which are the same all the time, I believe. If there were three chioces could the pigeon learn to always switch? I don't know pigeon behavior; can make complex choices or only simple ones?.

But a contestant only gets to play the game one time (tomorrow there is a different contestant), so he/she must play the best odds for getting the car. and there is a rational behavior for that. Switch!!!!
