Christmas advertising must start earlier in Great Britian than here in Arizona (USofA). It usually starts here the day after Thanksgiving (11/23). Haven't been to a Mall recently, so I can't say for certain that it hasn't started here yet, but if it has, it is the earliest ever in my memory.
