Wasn't "Gaudette" (sp?) recorded by Steeleye Span released for the Christmas market? That was a pretty good song - but I suspect nothing to do with Christmas. I don't do latin so I don't realy know. I reckon you can't beat Noddy Holder bellowing out "Iiiitttttssss Chhhrrrissssttttmmmaaassss....." for the ultimate Christmas song though!

Anyway, who said "gimlet-eyed"??? And what has one of Tolkiens dwarves got to do with Christams anyway???
