Are Ford frowned upon in the States? Taurus is made by them isn't it? I have a C-Max 1.6 Diesel that is brilliant. Don't know what the US equivalent is though.

Not seen Skoda mentioned either - Very good reputation here. VW quality witthout the VW price!
