Dear Pat, Karen, Tris & Michael -- Much love to all of you, wherever you spend Thanksgiving Day. Know that your experience, shared here in this amazing community, has helped me (and probably many others)to remember what Thanksgiving is all about. It's not turkey dinners or holiday parades or football games on TV. It's about finding blessings in dark hours. It's about knowing what's really important in this life: being together whether that's in a hospital room or at home, sharing love and friends, having people who are willing to help you find the perfect birthday toy, and recognizing how much you love that vintage car.
