Thanks for the kind and encouraging words one and all. Yes, it is semi-rural, which I am looking forward to very much. I know Skipton quite well but hadn't spotted the Whisky shop so thanks for that too. Not sure if Mrs G will appreciate it though :-)

I'll keep people posted on here and, when we have moves, if anyone needs a bed for the night they will be more than welcome.
