I can't recall what age I was when I first realized I was going to die one day, but it was quite a long time ago. The same goes for governments, regimes, and nation states...it just takes awhile. That's why when Ahamdinejad famously quoted the Ayatollah Khomeini as saying that the Zionist regime would one day "pass from the Earth" (not be "wiped off the map (supposedly by Iran)" as is frequently and deliberately misquoted again and again in the western press), he was doing nothing but stating what is patently true of any regime, including his own, given enough passage of time. They ALL pass from the Earth in due course of time, and so do we.

I can therefore state with certaintly that we are all doomed! ;-D

To put it another way, though...it's the only way you can get out of here. It's the only possible escape from the conditions and limitations of this physical existence. Maybe that's not as bad as people think.

And December ends on the 31st. As was already noted above. So there's something wrong with Roger's calendar.
