I am so sorry Carol, all sorts of feelings and thoughts are going through my head, none of them particularly constructive. My Mum died three years ago, I can remember clearly the emptiness like a physical pain, also how unreal the whole thing was. I wish there was something I could do or say to make you hurt less, I can only tell you that my thoughts are with you and your family
