Greetings from Alberta, Canada. I just picked up a LFW-4 (serial number 84170) from a pawn shop for $120.00. I think it was made in 1984. Solid spruce top, highly figured tiger-stripe solid back and sides (Ovagkol wood I think). Multi-ply wood bindings with a 3 ply stripe down the middle of the back. Dark wood neck binding. J-50 sloped shouldered dreadnought shape. 16" wide at the lower bout. 5" thick at the lower bout, 4" thick at the upper bout. 25 1/4" scale length. Pinless bridge. Hand carved martin style x-bracing. Georgeous guitar. One of the nicest fingerpicking guitars I've ever heard. Wouldn't sell it for the world.
