I know that The Red Lion in Malpas (Cheshire) would be happy to host a music night. There is an occasional session at Whitewell Village Hall, quite close to Malpas. Over in llangollen, the Sun Inn has an Open Mic session every Wednesday, The Swan, Pontfadog (near Chirk) has a session on the 1st Monday of the month (but this month, January 2013, it'll be on 14th January 2013) Let me know if you fancy meeting, maybe see about a session at the Red Lion, Malpas
