thankyou so much for your prayers and interest.tommy still deemed too unfit to take off ventilator although it is now assisting rather than breathing entirely for him.he sleeps a lot but has some more alert spells.i taped some of my songs for him and that seems to help him and amuses the nurse who has picked up on some of it and sings along!
when he becomes sufficiently alert they will try removing the tube again
