Two weeks ago I was wheezing and coughing so continuously I thought I would keel over and plumb die for lack of oxygen.

Today I walked four miles half of it up hill, without even stopping for breath, under the inspired and insistent leadership of Mudflanks McFuzzbutt, also known as Maggie Darlin' Dogg.

Thinks are definitely looking up since the darkest depth -- I have been off cigarettes for two weeks andf feel about twenty pounds lighter.
