Talk to any professor of geography, he/she will tell you, its over population. You are right in your statement that it is what they do that causes the damage. They must cut the rain forest down to make room for more and more farms. More food..more people more food more people. That statement about all the worlds population being able to fit in Texas? Ridulous..theoreticly maybe, but how would they survive? You cant plant seeds just anywhere, and the tillable land in this world was all created billions of years ago..thats it..no more farmable land. Yet, we continue to make more people.
