So then...would you throw yourself on a grenade to save wounded people who would otherwise be killed? Would you pull a child from in front of an oncoming train, knowing that YOU wouldn't make it? Would you give up your seat in a lifeboat to someone older than you? If you wouldn't die for an idea, would you die for another person?

This is a test, and only a test, of your beliefs, of what's so important to you that you'd risk you life. That's why I started this discussion with the quotations I did from whom I did.

The young believe they are immortal (until proven otherwise). But the general run of 'Catters are old enough to know they are not.
