"So then...would you throw yourself on a grenade to save wounded people who would otherwise be killed? Would you pull a child from in front of an oncoming train, knowing that YOU wouldn't make it? Would you give up your seat in a lifeboat to someone older than you? If you wouldn't die for an idea, would you die for another person?"

That is a very different question.
