Subject: RE: Declutter & ~~Health~~ February 2013
After last week's "butt-broken" setback I am thrilled to be able to get back to my six laps of ramp walking after every meal. I have returned TBTG to sleeping in my own bed on my left side/tummy at least 2/3 of each night without having to wake Hardi to wrestle me screaming to my feet (while I pee myself isn't aging lovely). There is a second bed in the Sailboats room which has been a napping or insomnia spot for years-- on my back, in a position not unlike the hospital bed/medical recliner position I came home locked into.

For the last several nights I have used that for the middle third of the night so that my cramped left shoulder gets a break, and the healing hip gets some time in a relaxed, straight position. But by the end of this week I bet my pool work will allow me to sleep in the bed ALL night, with 1/3 on my right side.

We also use that very-firm Sailboats bed as a platform for stretching exercises as needed at bedtime. That means that I can have one round of deep, daily stretching in the hot tub, and one at night up in Sailboats.

I reorganized some of the bathroom storage where I have kept my unmentionables and grub-wear for years, to accomodate the medical supplies we hope I will not need any longer as well as some unmentionable items I also do not use in the same way but like to have within reach as disposables-- I repurposed one of those handy rolling plastic drawer units that used to live in the Boondocker; if I need it back for Boondocking, by spring I will have emptied it anyhow. But this has allowed space for more everyday-wear in the closet.

The dishes got out of hand the last few days with all of the above transitions so they got whipped this morning. I also re-organized my little sewing kit-- shortening a skirt last night it was clear THAT needed to get done!
