Over time those objects may find logical places to live, near things they are like. Ice cube trays in with the Tupperware, cutter letters in with the popsicle holders, etc. Do you have any drawers you could use for that stuff?

I made some small calzone-shaped apple pies this evening. Came out great - so - pie for breakfast!
