SIX flights! That, to me, is monumental. I make a point of not taking the elevator up the 2 flights to the library and am very pleased with myself when I get there.

Yesterday was a point in fact. On the way to the country, I decided to go to a mall to look for a new water bottle ( an essential part has gone missing), check out printers and obtain some dk. choc covered almonds for treats. After two hours I was exhausted but persevering, one foot after the other. Having purchased nothing, as there was not a single water bottle in the mall that suited me, it was now too late to go to the country so I went to the Market and bought nuts, beans, crystalized ginger and the choc almonds at a bulk food store and some cheeses at the cheese store and took my sore feet, aching legs and back, home at 3:30! I had also done a major grocery store and got mostly marked down stuff. Then I needed to put it all away and finish the laundry. After I ate.

Lesson: that was the most I had walked in almost a year.

Unfortunately, I proceeded to eat everything in sight. So today, I start again.

Today, at the cabin, when a face cord of wood was delivered to the back door, I helped unload the truck.

Now, recovering from very hot bath. I hope to, at least, get that list of glaze ingredients done before I go back to the city.

Just finished a section of I'm Your Man in which it seems that LC recovered from a lifetime of depression and anxiety - after several years at the monastery and in India. Worthy of consideration. De-cluttering the brain?
