Tonight was yin yoga. Slow, long held postures....inflections instead of forced muscle use. Tonight's focus was on the spine, props encouraged. We did Pinnacle which basically is sitting on the floor, knees bent and beside your body (so you look like a frog) and then laying the torso all the way back and hold. I had a bolster from the small of my back, all the way up my spine..it felt DIVINE. Each pose was held for 3 minutes. Some poses got a little uncomfortable but I have to tell you, my back is soooo nice and loose now....I want more. More. MORE!
