Rufus slept on top of me while I napped -- successfully keeping me from floating to the ceiling. Sabine decided around 2:45 that it was time for me to get up and call the hospital and find out what room Tom's in.

Still don't know -- they connected me right to his room and he can't see well enough to know what room he's in and he's had a call out for a nurse for about 5 minutes.

I'm grabbing his glasses (not that they'll help a lot) and his cane and heading back to Dover. I'll take the scenic shortcut again precisely because it's cheap R&R. The wind is still brutal. My tire tracks in the driveway are drifted full.
