Thread Name: BS: Healing Song Circle 2013
Subject: RE: BS: Healing Song Circle 2013
Great songs here. I blew it at 4, so I'm joining very late. I left the house at 3 and went to the drugstore. I should have been home by 4, but there was a much longer wait time than I expected. It was after 5 when I got home, I needed to cook and eat (diabetic, though pretty stable, but meals should be on time) and then I wanted to find a song . . . . Anyway, I'm here now. I've sung the songs I know on this thread and the ones in recent posts on Nigel's thread. Mine is the English words to Lorre Wyatt's Somos el Barco. (Did someone post it earlier on Nigel's thread? If so, it must have stuck in my mind.)

Chorus: We are the boat: we are the sea.
I sail in you; you sail in me.

Verses: The stream sings it to the river; the river sings it to the sea
The sea sings it to the boat that carries you and me.

Now the boat we are sailing in was built by many hands
And the sea we are sailing on, it touches many sands

Oh the voyage has been long and hard, and yet we're sailing still
With a song to help us pull together if we only will.

So with our hopes we raise the sails to face the winds once more
And with our hearts we chart the waters never sailed before.
