Oh, Susan! These sounds like things I used to do - when I was cooking for the masses. Living alone for MANY years, I have gotten totally out of the habit. So, you wake me up to the woman I used to be! I cook more now than I did before R. The last real baking I did was for moveon.org bake sales - in 2008! That inspired my to great heights - baklava, cookies, jalapeno corn bread. We raised lots of money.
