Jeri, I agree about shiny things. Then next trick is to use them for what I intended, once I have the clear space to work, like Freda described. Freda, is it possible to have too many CDs? Like "too many" books - it's more a matter of too little storage, not too many of those precious items. Linn - I love that tape story. Did you look in the litter box?

Things are turning finally at eBay. It took a little while to get things up that would sell, but I've sold four in the last week and another has a bid on it, and there are watchers on two others. In my opinion there's no point in listing big things until you have some current positive feedback so people thinking about bidding can see you're active and reliable. And if, in the process, you clear out the contents of a couple of shelves in the closet or the bulk on top of a table, all the better!

Made a big batch of guacamole tonight, consumed a portion and put the rest in ice cube trays in the freezer. I'm going to turn off the computer pretty soon - I'm trying to get adjusted to the time change, I'm not there yet. The computer can be so distracting that I forget to watch the clock. I had an auction with a "buy it now" price that sold this afternoon. If he pays tonight I can drop that box at the post office in the morning on my way to work. And there goes one of the satellite receivers I haven't used in years.

I made a couple of trips up and down all six flights of stairs in the library today. I need to get up every hour or so and walk around, it might as well be five minutes climbing stairs.
