Sugarfoot ~~ Click on Edit in the header menu, and you should find "Special Characters" as the last option. Alternatively, click on the flag in the header menu, the one which chooses between Stars & Stripes or Union Jack, & a menu should open with "Character Viewer" or "Character Palette" [depending on model] as an option.
