Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Dawning of the Day
Here is another song that has "at the dawning of the day" as part of the first chorus line.
The song is called "Pleasent and Delightful" listed as traditional and is taken from the "Jackie and Bridie" song book

First verse and chorus line

It was pleasant and delightful one midsummer's morn,
When the fields and the meadows they were covered with corn,
There were blackbirds and thrushes sang on every green spray
And the larks they sang melodious at the dawning of the day.

And the larks they sang melodious
And the larks they sang melodious
And the larks they sang melodious
At the dawning of the day
