Yes, I wrote the above that gnu quoted. I could have written more, but too much negativity can spoil his whole day. I understand that once, when he was computing the heaving coefficient of an aluminized water-gel slurry he misplaced the decimal places on his abacus and pretty much caused most of the Newfoundland permafrost to shimmy and his boss to heave him. (If you don't know what I'm talking about it's probably better that way.)
