Wikipedia tells the story of the group quite well. The Dubliners announced their retirement in the autumn of 2012, after 50 years of playing, following the death of founding member Barney McKenna. However, the surviving members of the group - with the exception of John Sheahan - continue touring in 2013 under the name of "The Dublin Legends".
