No, we went to drop off Hazardous Waste and the Farmers' Market. Saw Eiseley there, bought some lettuce and spinach and one jar each of raspberry and huckleberry jam.

Starting about May 14 we'll be on a ROAD TRIP!!!! First to Chicago for a wild night near Midway airport, then a rollicking trip to Springfield, IL and a night of unrestrained carousel there. The next day, the 16th, I drive the Quincy, IL, my hometown and one ROCKIN' place for a reunion of my old National Guard unit -- we were activated 45 years ago this coming May 13! Then back to Springfield, and after that we're off to St. Joe and Indepence MO as well as Pat revisiting Leavenworth, KS where she did time while her father was in CGSC there! Then another wild and crazy night near Midway and we'll be home on the 29th.

While we're gone, our sidewalk along the street will be dug up and re-poured! We'll have a new sidewalk when we get back!

Doesn't that sound like a wonderful schedule to you? Oh -- I see that I forgot the mention that from the 16th through 18th Pat will be working on a program for Midwest Fabric Study Group in Springfield, my youngest niece will be graduating from Missouri State on the 17th, my nephew Dan will be both a new father and on the 17th receive an Associate's degree in Landscaping and Turf Management (graduating Magma Come Loudly, no less). Oh yes, Dan's daughter is due the week he has finals.
