Been some threads on Facebook. I, for just one, have called for all my Facebook friends to share this info about Adobe and others and to boycott any software comapany that says "You can pay $X and it's good for one year." THAT means that everything you do with it can only be used for one year and then you lose the works, access to YOUR OWN creations included... that ain't right.

Now... take that to next level... the "cloud" or "sky". You can buy M$ Office Home and Student, one time cash outlay, one PC BUT it's not on YOUR PC... it's in the sky... and THEY own the sky. When they decide you have to pay them more money or when someone decides to shut down your internet if you, the people, get too uppity (Syria???), this type of "marketing" renders you helpless.

Boycott. Resistance is NOT futile. I have turned all my automatic updates off. I will decide what and who has anything to do with my PC and OUR internut.
