Tell us more about the dentist, Rap. A friend of mine has had "funny bone" removed from her jaw, where it doesn't let the gum heal. The dentist, over months, has chipped it away so her gum is about closed up now. She was on Fozamax (sp?) for years and it affects the jaw bone. Have you been on an osteoporosis medication?
