But you are wrong in your last comment ~~ I did not say they were accurate; I made no assertion but simply asked where Don had found them, as he claimed 'misquoted', as they resembled what I recalled to have heard on some previous occasion. He has now withdrawn his assertion that they were misquoted, admitting that he hasn't the knowledge to make such a judgment; and fallen back on his somewhat feeble IMO argument that no passage can be accurately quoted by extracting a single sentence from it out of context; to which I would rejoin that it would depend what that sentence, even regarded as a single entity, says, and that this will not pass as an outright generalisation.
