I was at the regular dentist yesterday. He made a point of not doing the local anesthesia injections so that a pool of liquid would form under the tissue and make me feel like I'd been socked in the jaw. I was awake, and though there seemed to be an awful lot of stuff in my mouth at some times, I survived. Are they going to knock you out? Have them do it with something other than a sock to the jaw.
