thanks Will Fly. Good advice there! I am able to travel but it needs to be fairly local so I am looking at the forest Hill area and anything thats fairly close by or easy to get to on public transport as I don't drive. I've joined a local group called the forest hill folk orchestra and also try to go to folk singers nights when I can at my local folk club.
