Now I have no objection to this talk of horrible deaths, after all many of our recruits will be signed up for life before they even leave the maternity unit (with one ear pinna missing, as per previous dictat), so they won't have a clue what their controllers (oops, sorry, parents) have let them in for, but we do need inducements for adults as a counterbalance.
